About
I’m Alexa and I’m a multi passionate introvert in her early 40s!
Currently, I live full time on the Australian roads with my female partner in our 16ft caravan. Our journey is shared with our cat Tanzy, and was also shared with my 16 year old dog who sadly passed in February 2023.
We are digital nomads who do not have a house, although we hope to one day have some land where we can build our own house and grow an epic food forest and become self-sufficient.
We live and work completely on solar and haven’t owned a microwave for years. Mostly, we free camp and try to avoid caravan parks as much as possible. All the above things make me a society ‘no-no’, or at least that’s the way I’ve felt all my life. I’m a creative right to my core, but I’ll go mad only focusing on one thing at a time. I’ve always danced to my own drum no matter how hard I try not to, or how much I’ve been told how to dance.
I grew up in a very unhealthy space, which means I live with complex PTSD, a huge fear of people, a sometimes dark mind and a deep love for those who do make it into my space. I’m sure somewhere down the track I’ll get into more detail about that can of worms, but for now, this is simply an introduction.
My hope is to write about my passions; music production, recording sounds, writing, travel, love, mental health, being an introvert and most likely a bunch of other off topic subjects just because that’s what I do. But my main goal in sharing these things is to just maybe help anyone else who might be in a similar boat. I know personally, when I was growing up, that I never even heard of ‘Multi Passionate’ and being an introvert “wouldn’t get you anywhere”. So feel free to strap yourself in and take a journey through whatever writing you feel is relevant to you. The only thing I ask is please keep an open mind because at the end of the day, we are all individuals.
Amazing Places
I’m fortunate enough to combine my passion of travelling with my passion of field recording and music production. I love the great outdoors and seeing what the Australian landscape has to offer in regard to views and sounds.
As I’m still recovering from a long chronic health issue, I find field recording has given me the perfect motivation to slowly get my fitness levels back up; nothing like knowing that there will be wonderful sounds, views, or experiences if I just climb another 200 stairs.
